The 3rd Project Steering Committee Meeting of the project “Transboundary Air Pollution Health Index Development and Implementation – TRAP” was hosted by ERFC in Thessaloniki, on 16/10/2019. The partners presented their progress until now and decided the future steps regarding the implementation of the project.
All project’s partners were present:
1) Environment Centre of Western Macedonia (LB)
2) Municipality of Florina
3) European Regional Framework for Cooperation
4) Center for Climate Change
5) Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.
Strategic objective of TRAP project is the creation of an ICT application integrating air quality monitoring with health impact indexes in the participating countries and Cross Border area. The project aims to evaluate current situation regarding air quality in partners’ areas, install air quality monitoring stations and create public health indexes for assessing air quality impact on human health and natural environment.
