Byzantine Chant is inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO.
Considering that Aegialia has a significant historical value, there is a proposal to organize an International Symposium where famous professors could analyze specific information and present the dossier that led UNESCO.
The target group for this specific event is musicians, choir members, composers, musicologists and scholars, but also spiritual people who love chanting or hearing Byzantine hymns.
