- F.A.M.E road project is build on the experience gained from Greenroad (greenroad.it), a Best Practice (result of a Project funded by the Apulia Region and implemented in the area of Taranto) for development of naturalistic and rural areas aiming at a sustainable growth based on the conservation and the valorization of the identity of target territories. The approach is holistic and participatory: cultural, naturalistic, economic and social aspects are all comprised in the planning and development of the activities of the model and in each phase of the project; moreover, local stakeholders are invited to participate and join to the processes, including individual citizens and tourists. The greenroad model is based on four pillars, the so called F.A.M.E. pillars, on which the actions of project are based on: Food, Art, Movement and Energy.
- We went to beatiful Agialeia to meet personaly Ms Nadia Stefanopoulou and to figure out all the mystery behind the eco terra cotta and the interraction among Greek and Italian Ceramist. We have met also Mr. Leonidas Mavroudis who gave us a short taste of the big vision called the station and is refered to the old thain station of Aigialia and how can be converted to an athletic Hub and Hostel where the visitors will have the opportunity to discover the history of the old train station. Ms Vana Bedevi has guide us to the Folkore Museum of Aigialia. Ms Panagiatakopoulou Maria invited us for a tea in Idyphonon and we were many times speechless with Marios, when we saw all this hard work. Last but not least was our visit to the mainsion of Panagiotopoulos and the Expo of the musical instruments of the privat collection of Mr. Sakis Papadimitriou. And before to close our documentary film about the art of Aigialeia we made a short reminder to the event which took place on 10th of February at the War Museum in Athens, where for first time, during the Art Exhibition: Synod, Heaven & Earth we had a fruitfuill artistic partnership and simpraxis between the distinguished Curator Marina Gonta and the internationally renowned visual artist, Curator Miguel Gomez strengthened the cultural communication and extroversion between Greece and Italy. The cordial collaboration brought about new confluences of experiences and cultural intelligence, of a multi-level exchange and new dynamics.
- Through the art exhibition, “Holy Nights” held in Bari, bonds of friendship and new perspectives were created between Greek and Italian artists. Both theogony and theognosis with all their forms of thought, embrace the collective unconscious of the ideal world, as perceived by the eyes of the visual artists of the Exhibition: “Art, Synod of Heaven and Earth”, where the opening will take place on February 10th, 2023, at 20:00 pm in the foyer of the War Museum of Athens. The creators give new substance to the material, approaching the methodology and techniques, through the sacred knowledge of faith, prayer and inner dialogue. This time the exhibition “Art, Synod of Heaven and Earth” which is Under the auspices of: the Pontifical Council for Culture and the Diocese of Bari-Biton, the international Biennale of Bari, and the international events of Federico II and Vallisa Cultura, has as its main purpose to strive cultural bonds with visual artists of both countries. In parallel with the exhibition, the Interregional project FAME ROAD supported by the INTERREG GREECE ITALY program was presented at a special evening by the Institute: European Region Framework Cooperation, www.erfc.gr with the aim of partnerships in cultural projects, but also to explore their participation in special programs of cultural extroversion and cooperation, in aim to empower of civil society. During the shooting and the editing of this doc- film as a journalist Ι owned a lot of apreciation to @vcmproductions.greece and @i-social
Fame road is a programm which aim to bring people closer.
The approach is holistic and participated: cultural, naturalistic, economic and social aspects are all comprised in the development of the activities of the model and in each phase of the project; moreover, local stakeholders, including individual citizens and tourists are invited to participate and join to the processes. FAME ROAD has 4 pillars, an acronym standing for Food, Art, Movement and Energy.
The experience we had during the shooting made us to realize that the most dynamic tool to have successful results in food and art diplomacy is only through integration of the four pillars, local development can be also sustainable and circularly endlessly repeatable.
IT and GR share a similar starting point: they both have wonderful naturalistic and cultural areas, known as famous touristic destinations; however, their model is typically a mass and seasonal tourism, which, along the years, tends to deplete and spoil the local resources, poorly contributing to the local economy and, more generally, to the development of the areas.
The main objective is to understand and identify the main difficulties faced today by the local communities, regarding acceptance of massive and seasonal touristic flows and provide them with tools, services, expertise and best practices to qualify their touristic offer, increasing the awareness to work in network and to accurately plan innovative and tailored touristic solutions, that address new global trends and valorize CB local assets.
The FAME Road project aims at improving citizens’ quality of life, supporting local and traditional businesses increasing competitiveness in globalized market, create integrated, modern and customized touristic offers for different target tourists based on naturalistic and cultural heritage, develop network of economic and institutional stakeholders who approve and share the FAME values, create the FAME brand to promote products and services offered by the members of the network.
FAME road is based on four main pillars of innovation: Food, Art, Movement and Energy are the fundamental aspects which define the identity of the CB territories and therefore they must be intended as driver for the development. Of course, tourism is the first and easier field where these values can have a prompt feedback.
The FAME Road model is characterized by a number of horizontal values crossing all four pillars. Social innovation, respect and preservation of environment and economic sustainability are always present in FAME strategy. A key success factor was and remains that the Agialeia has a completely human-centric character, which is confirmed by the multitude of repeat visitors. So with people as the focus, we present the thematic fields of interest of the magnificent Aigialeia with the aim of making them the subject of a fruitful dialogue between citizens and visitors, within the framework of the FAME Road program.
According to the movie material the CPM of Fame Road for Greece ERFC, Ms Helena Kyropoulos used our final material to bring awareness to municipality of Elassona and to promote the FAME road Model also to the local community there. Result of this was the successful participation of the Municipality of Elassona, which has already signed the MOU and is officially A FAME CITY and of course all the NEW ENTRY FAME IDEAS OF ELASSONA as well.
