ERFC participated in International Thematic Workshop of the “Danube – Black Sea Connection of European and Asian Economy, a Step for Substantial Growth of the Black Sea Area” (DABS) Project in Thessaloniki, Greece, 5-6 September 2014.
ERFC participated in International Workshop of the “Danube – Black Sea Connection of European and Asian Economy, a Step for Substantial Growth of the Black Sea Area” (DABS) Project in Samsun, Turkey, 25-27 August 2014.
During the thematic workshop of DABS project at Thessaloniki, , the project partnership proceeded to the constitution of a Declaration, which is open for further support by stakeholders.
The Declaration concerns transport & logistics links, between Danube Region, Black Sea Basin Region and Adriatic Ionian and East Mediterranean Regions focusing on maritime and hinterland transport.
It is approved & supported by all project partners, namely:
ONMEST 2 project, bridges 7 countries of the Mediterranean Basin, with the vision of promoting the model of sustainable tourism, identifying the particular stakeholders that could support or benefit from a common strategy towards sustainable tourism and create Local Centers of Cultures and tourism packages with sustainable characteristics for the interested communities. The above scope is embraced by dissemination activities, sensitization and awareness tools towards the diffusion of the idea of sustainable tourism within student communities, citizen initiatives, tourism professionals and public authorities, any interested body acting at local level.
The project foresees training activities so that the involved parties go through special methodologies for the realization of tourism products, propositions for local heritage validation and evaluation of customers’ satisfaction.
Good Practice Guide collects the work done during 5 thematic workshops in which the partners have selected the best
examples of innovation and entrepreneurship in horticulture and animal breeding in their countries.
