On 21 November 2014, in Istanbul, in the context of the EU funded Black Sea Silk Road Corridor Project (BSSCR), the ERFC presented its work to develop a new tourist brand: the “Black Sea Silk Road” to an audience of 150 tourist and cultural heritage professionals in Turkey. President of the ERFC, Nikos Petropoulos who mentioned the value of a project that combines the efforts of organizations working in unison in Turkey, Greece, Armenia and Georgia.
Furthermore, Mr. Petropoulos announced to the audience the EU funded Cultur-EXP project which aims to provide cultural professionals and organizations to make use of this new electronic platform that will enable cultural professionals and organizations to link up in order to develop cross border projects and to network more effectively in the Black Sea region, in an effective way, which they have never done before.
