Two focus groups with women with disabilities and people who are related to them (doctors, social workers, trainers) were organized by ERFC with the kind support of Spinal Cords Injuries Unit, on 18/03/2019 and 02/04/2019.
Focus groups discussions were undertaken to educe the difficulties that women are confronted with: their integration, their soft and ICT Skills, the process of job searching, the employment opportunities and risks and the Teleworking.
The consultation brought about some valuable information in terms of difficulties, drawbacks and barriers that women with disabilities are faced with and which gaps are extremely useful to fulfill. It is mentioned the importance of ICT and soft skills, Teleworking, as well the accompanying process to access to employment.
